Mustangs Bring Home Flags from 2008 Long Course TAGS!

The 2008 Long Course Texas Age Group Championship (TAGS) were held at the University of Texas Aquatic Center in Austin, TX. The event, bringing together the top qualifying age-group swimmers from throughout Texas occurred July 23^rd through July 27^th.

We took a nice size group of 35 swimmers to Austin and finished up with one more flag than we had hoped for. We scored a 9^th place finish overall and the 10 and under girls won their age-group bringing home a first place score! It was a battle the whole way and we had some great swims from all of our age groups.

The 10 and Under Girls most notably were first in two of the three relays in times that are easily in the top 10 in the country. The 10 and under boys also were strong as well with great performances on all three scoring relays. Special kudos to our 13-14 girls as well for capturing the 13-14 200 Medley relay crown from lane one in finals.
