Mustangs Strong at 2005 Spring Sectionals!

The short course Spring Sectional Championship was held at Texas A&M University in Bryan-College Station. Our swimmers came up just short of three-peat team victory at the meet (our second place finish out of more than 50 teams followed victories at both the Spring and Summer Sectionals during 2004). The Mustang line up was filled with some incredible efforts. The team was led by Codie Hansen, who won the meet’s high point for the women. Matt Thompson set a new 13-14 age group National Record in the 100 back. Spin Beck powered her way to a National cut in the 200 breast. And our girls 400 Medley Relay came from behind for an exciting win on the last women’s event. That relay team was - Meredith Monroe, Spin Beck, Molly Bollen and Codie Hansen.
